Barnes and Noble are preparing to launch a new version of nook tablet that would compete with the Kindle fire of Amazon. This smaller version of nook gadgets has some leaked – memo from the Wal-Mart. It is said by “The Verge” that this 8 GB Nook tablet will be soon launched and would be available in the market by 22nd of February 2012.
The new, small nook tablet with striking features
Presently the kindle fire and Nook tablet are almost identical in look, they both share android features and measure 7- inch, their screen measures 1024 x 600, both have 1 GHz dual core processor, both have the facility to access Wi- Fi, both have 8 hours of battery life, have built in microphones. However, the nook tablet comes double in case of memory storage and it is $50 more in price.
However, the new nook tablet gadget will have lower memory space that would be in competition with Amazon’s Kindle- fire in respect to features as well as in price.
Barnes and Noble stated that there had been accomplished sale of nook tablet that almost made a record in nine weeks by the end of year 2011. This section of this company is earning well and expects to join up the nook business as a whole. According to Barnes and Noble, the sales of the digital content digital composition in 2012 are expected to rise to $ 450 million.
