Dell 10, the latest tablet by Dell is supposed to be launched along with the Windows 8 OS. It will also see other two competitors launching around the same time in the form of an Ultrabook and an AIO PC. The Dell 10 is purposely made for businesspersons as it has several enterprise class features preloaded into it.
Pricing not disclosed by Vice President
Sam Burd who is the Global Vice President of the Personal Computing Product Group of Dell said that the intersection between superb design and data security and manageability has never been as influential as it is now. He further added, since employees are increasingly asking for a support from gorgeous products while, at the same time, there is a need for IT to maintain corporate controls.
The pricing details of this newest product by Dell are still undisclosed.
The Specs
The Dell 10 has a 10.1-inch wide view LED display adorning the front of the device. It is made of reinforced Corning Gorilla glass. The capacitive 10-finger touch tolerance, coupled with an optional Wacom Active stylus makes this a handy device to use and handle.
Sam Burd also maintained that Dell is providing an answer to the IT needs with this new range of Latitude and Optiplex products, which are designed to inspire the workers and meet the ever-increasing demands from the IT industry.
These words by the Vice President are bolstered after we take a look at the next generation Intel Atom SoC processor which works with the 533 MHz Intel GMA, to render excellent graphics on this device. This gadget also has a 128 GB hoarding space, which is based on an eMMC architecture includes 2GB DDR SDRAM.
Using the Windows 8 slab the device can be connected to a stereo headphone, USB 2.0, a docking connector, microSIM etc. The release date is expected to arrive closely to the launching of Windows 8.
