The Elder Scrolls V is the follow-up to the much-acclaimed Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. The Dawnguard do not match with its predecessor in terms of new content yet the game is immensely entertaining and replayable the Skyrim DLC brings more than 10 hours of intense gameplay.
The Dawnguard DLC downloadable content is an add-on to the Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim the role-playing action video game launched by Bethesda in Xbox 360, PS3, and Windows PC. Skyrim has been an enormous, critical, and commercial success. The open-world game features the war against a dragon that has set out to destroy the world.
The add-on gives the option to Skyrim player to join either side of the Vampires or the Dawnguard vampire hunters, but that does not matter. The transformation option to vampire lord and perk trees for werewolves and vampires are truly impressive. There are some new locations and weapons of which the crossbow is actually the best thing.
Pros and Cons
The Elder Scrolls 5’s Dawnguard DLC has a particularly appealing twist to the game a well-rounded storyline, several new characters and the game is pleasant to play all again. There are a lot of side quests, and the main game target is long and all suspense. The crossbow especially is something to talk about.
However, there are many issues too the game is error-prone to start with and has many performance issues. Although there is nothing wrong or uninteresting with the gameplay it surely feels predictable like something, you have been playing all along.
With performance and gameplay issues, the Dawnguard DLC does not sound sensational but appeals to the hardcore Elder Scrolls fan. Overall, the Dawnguard is what a SLC should be, and you can have hours of fun playing this!
