iPod Touch provides a complete multimedia jukebox experience with the best user friendly design and performance. The Apple iPod has been the first choice MP3 player for a long time with powerful multimedia features, internet connectivity and a vast array of useful applications, which makes it much better than a simple multimedia player. If you do not need an iPhone but everything that it does other than phone calls, this is the choice for you. The 4th generation of iPods has been enhanced in its features and user friendliness.

Specifications

Just like the iPhone 4, the most defining improvement from the previous version was the visual interface the retina-quality display screen that provides clear and crisp images and videos. The camera is just about 1 MP compared to 5 MP for the iPhone 4 because of the 0.28 inches thick svelte. Anyway, the rear camera can record at 720p at 30 fps. It runs on modern A4 processor just like the iPad and iPhone 4 and has about 35 hours of continuous battery backup. There is 64 GB of memory for storing pictures, music, videos, apps and more.

Verdict-Pros and Cons

The camera is just 1 MP, but you can take 720p videos, so you can always use it for video conferencing using the Face Time app, but the low capacity lens means it is not meant to be used for taking many pictures. The hardware performance and battery life are all remarkably similar to the iPhone 4. However, the iPod score over iPhone 4, which has only, 32 GB of memory compared to 64 GB in iPods.

The media performance is top notch everything expect a few minor issues. Firstly, you do not get the AC adapter for charging it along with an iPod purchase. There are also no integrated remote controls, and the headphones are surprisingly poor to that supplied with the iPhone 4. Yet the iPod Touch is the synonym of a quality multimedia companion.
