Pros and Cons

The battery backup is astounding and so is its design and look. It fits snugly and is exceptionally comfortable. However, if you are into big and loud, hard rock, you may love it! One thing to consider here is that while using wireless or Bluetooth for connecting to the headphones, the audio transmitted through space is compressed. However, headphones from Sennheiser and AKG are doing a far better job by giving a natural feel. It is perhaps the aggressiveness of the sound, which people love about this headphone.

The high definition audio is not as impressive with the big and loud sound with low frequencies booming hard. The bass is heavy and feels like a blow to your chest. Subsequently the overall hearing experience is like thuds.

Summary
Monster Beats by Dr. Dre is one of the heavyweights in headphones. They are a massive hit and surprisingly so with a not-so-good design and with a not-enough audio quality. To add to the irony, this is overpriced too! Nevertheless, whatever it does work is fine and the battery life is impressive. Using them for hands free calls are easy and delightful. Overall, it is a travel friendly headphone, but at $280, it would not be an excellent choice for the quality of audio it produces.
