Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800- Both Equally Commendable

The launch of Nokia Lumia 710 will be officially announced by T-Mobile and Nokia on 14th December. Even though, Lumia 800 has gathered more momentum, Lumia 710 windows phone device is worth paying attention.

Nokia 710 will challenge HTC

Nokia 710 is speculated to challenge the Radar 4G gadget of HTC. From the price point of view, Nokia 710 is around $100 price range. The phone will be cheaper than HTC and will be affordable for any pocket size. But in this case T-Mobile will not be left with any high end mobile whereas AT&T have options of HTC titan and Samsung Focus S. HTC radar is an exceptionally well equipped gadget, with only one drawback that its camera is not particularly appetizing. Compared to Lumia 710, HTC also, have similar facilities. Similar operating system, apps in the phone, display resolution, and of course, and the processor is featured in Lumia 710 as in HTC.

Comparing Lumia 710 with Lumia 8oo

Nokia Lumia 710 and Lumia 800 are in many ways similar to each other. Both have Windows phone 7.5 Mango OS, 1.4 gigahertz snapdragon processor, 1GB ram and 512 MB ROM, 16GB internal memory, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and priced at four hundred and twenty Euros. Although, Nokia Lumia 710 is remarkably close to the Lumia 800 it has a few differences. Nokia Lumia710 is equipped with 8GB memory, whereas Lumia 800 is equipped with 16GB memory. Both have 3.7 inch display, but whereas 710 have TFT, Lumia 800 has Gorilla glasses. The power of the cameras is better for Lumia 800 with 8 megapixels as compared to 5 megapixels for Lumia 710.

Lumia 800 is speculated to come to US by 2012. In the meantime, it will build its markets in other parts of the world. The updated hardware of Lumia 800 is what that is attractive among smart phone users!

  1. Why is it ok to be made of plastic when you cost 530 bucks unlocked (like my Galaxy S2) but it’s so wrong when you cost 50 bucks like this Nokia? Why is it ok to last barely 10 hours when you cost 649 US$ on the cheapest unlocked version (iPhone 4S) but it’s “not bad for a 50 US$ phone”… if review sites are going to bash a budget phone because it is made of plastic, then they shouldn’t even have mercy on a high-end device that’s made of plastic too. Or the battery, or the LACK of a camera buton (again, my Galaxy S2 or the iPhone).. ‘cmon engadget, we know you like.. hate Nokia, but you can also be more fair…
