Oh, yes! Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a tablet featuring a newer design and some tweaks in the software. This tablet released by Samsung in its line of Galaxy tab and Galaxy Tab 2, surely stands out above the crowd, and is expected to sell a lot. Branding on the hugely successful, original Galaxy Note, Samsung hopes to bring similar technology in a bigger size. The Samsung Galaxy Note tab has the S pen, which gives an improved performance due to the changes made to the software and addition of apps like Adobe Photoshop Touch and Samsung Touchwiz.

Features

This tablet runs on Google’s Android 4.0 ICS operating system, with speculations that Jelly Bean update is soon on the table. It comes with the Samsung Exynos 4 Quad which features ARM Cortex A-9 core going up to 1.4 GHz. Coupled with a whopping 7000mAh battery, the combination results in a high performance with an enhanced battery life. Although this chip is the similar to the one used in Samsung Galaxy S3, it excels in the SoC performance.

The tablet has a metal rim, similar to Galaxy S3, and plastics on the body. However, this makes the tablet look cheaper in comparison with its other top end contenders; it certainly increases the robustness of the piece. The comfort offered while holding the device, along with the lightweight (up to 600g) makes it easy to use on the go.

Pros and Cons

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is much an improved version with 5 MP camera resolution, with outstanding performance lightweight and superb battery life.

The downside of this gadget is the poor performance of image manipulation software; moreover, its screen is also not so appealing. Lack of customization features sometimes becomes annoying when one needs to edit the images.
