The new HTC smartphone, the HTC Ville, will be launched by T-Mobile and will come with the Ice Cream Sandwich OS pre install in it.. This was indicated by leaked reports seen on the PocketNow website. Otherwise, the HTC smartphone is still a rumor. The dates of release are thought to be any one of the four dates- 11th January, 18th January, February 15th and March 21st, although nothing is certain yet as of now. T-Mobile has been aggressive all through and is all set to launch four new phones in the next few months even though the merger with AT&T did not materialize.
HTC Ville Specifications
The HTC handset will come with a dual core Snapdragon S4 CPU with a frequency of 1.5GHz. It has a 4.3-inch super AMOLED display touch screen. The back camera is 8MP with autofocus capability. The 8mm thick, beauty comes with decent battery life. It is expected to come installed with the HTC Sense interface with Flash and HTML support. The smartphone supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity. External devices can be connected via the microUSB port.
The Android 4.0 ICS loaded HTC Ville comes with pre installed MP3 player, player, and uploader for YouTube and Picasa. Typical smartphone features like predictive text input, GPS navigation and threaded applications are also included. Email support is provided to apps in POP3, IMAP, SMTP, push email, and Microsoft Exchange. The HTC Ville is expected to come with the new HTC initiative, the HTC family. It creates a common platform for members of a family to communicate with each other and leave messages using their mobile gadgets. A geo location feature allows mapping the location of your dear ones thus not letting distance becoming a blockage for communications within the family.
